Stone, senior editor at the Center for Ecoliteracy and primary author of the Center's book, Smart by Nature: Schooling for Sustainability, is a featured speaker at this inaugural conference, hosted by the Green Schools National Network. Dedicated to "Growing Green Schools Across America," the conference is an opportunity for the national K-12 education community to gather and exchange ideas on integrating a "green culture" and promoting environmental literacy throughout public, charter, and independent schools nationwide.
