Center for Ecoliteracy cofounder Fritjof Capra will present at this daylong symposium on promoting a sustainable world for children. "Children First" features leaders in the fields of health care, nutrition, education, and the environment. It will explore the full range of factors influencing child health and development and discuss ways to create environments in which children can thrive and reach their full potential. Sponsors include the Collaborative on Health and the Environment (CHE), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Complementary and Integrative Medicine, and the Center for Ecoliteracy.
This symposium is open to health professionals, research scientists,
parents, school administrators, teachers, policymakers, city planners,
nutritionists and all others concerned with ensuring children have the
best possible environments in which to grow and develop.
